This might be one of my favorite topics to write about. Figures in Rock and Roll are known for being crazy and doing wild things basically just because they can. I like hip hop and rap and everything that goes along with it, but these rappers will never be able to touch rock stars when it comes to doing absurd things. This instance that I'm writing about has to do with one of my favorite rockstars and crazy man, Ozzy Osbourne! Ozzy is a walking science experiment and it's a miracle he is still alive and touring, his tour this year was postponed because he fell in his home. On January 20th 1982, there was a bat carcass on stage and Ozzy thought it was a toy, so he bit it's head off! He later described it to a reporter that "It was crunchy." When I was reading about this I found out this wasn't the first time the lead of Black Sabbath had pulled a stunt like this. One day when Ozzy and long time wife / manager Sharon were meeting with record executives Ozzy had planned to release 2 doves from his jacket for dramatic effect. As the meeting went on Ozzy became bored and bit the heads off both of the doves like the wild man he is! When asked about it he said "the meeting was getting boring." This can all be verified in the film "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne" there is a part in that when people are describing his antics as absolute bedlam and a wrecking crew. When drummer of Motley Crue Tommy Lee has to be the voice of reason that's when you know you have gone off the rails on the crazy train! 

To focus more on the prompt about the 60's now. I would have to agree with Professor Ellis, Jimi Hendrix lets loose with his guitar and starts shredding The National Anthem at Woodstock if you haven't heard that I highly recommend you give it a listen. Woodstock is celebrating its 50 year anniversary this year and it will not be how it was 50 years ago! I would have loved to been on that farm rocking out with everyone. The story of Woodstock is completely mind blowing! This concert was supposed to be held on state ground, after Creedence Clearwater Revival signed up (locking this whole thing in to be legit) the state of New York basically said "No way are you having it here!" Then is old farmer with a ton of land volunteered and the show was back on the road to three days of peace and music. On August 23rd 1967 Jimi Hendrix released his album called "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" this album has one of my favorite Hendrix songs on it and that is "Purple Haze" Jimi Hendrix revolutionized the electric guitar. Another awesome song came out by Led Zeppelin in 1969 and that is "Ramble On"
